The vision of Eden Lodge as a very special hotel and restaurant based  on the philosophy of well-being and around the elements of a restful stay surrounded by nature, tasty and nurturing food, and restoring and uplifting therapies goes back a number of years when Marcia Dos Reis and Ernst Liehr first came to the Lake District. When they first saw Conishead Grange, which contains in its grounds what we now call Eden Lodge and Eden House, they immediately recognised the potential for creating something very special.
After many challenges and tribulations on the way, Eden Lodge and Eden House have finally become the manifestation of the original vision: vibrant yet calming and healing places for those seeking rest, upliftment and an opportunity to bring body and soul back into harmony in these stressful times.
 All of the Eden Lodge team share the the simple vision of well-being of our guests and hope to provide you with a relaxing and invigorating stay, which will hopefully want to make you come back time and again.
And as the saying goes “nobody is perfect”, we will always welcome the comments and suggestions of our guests, in order to get this little bit better every day!
